“The Science of Joke Writing” is a three-hour class for both aspiring comedians ready to learn the basics of joke construction as well as professionals who want to take their writing skills to the next level.

The class includes important fundamentals of comedy—what makes people laugh, different approaches to comedy—before diving into joke structure and specific writing techniques to streamline your jokes and make them land more successfully. 

Though it’s a not a workshop, there will be plenty of time for Q & A and working on some sample jokes of the students.
