Classes

Robert has been keeping secrets. Mostly about joke writing.

People have been asking Robert Mac for years how he writes his jokes. He’s finally ready to talk. Taking notes is encouraged. Taking credit for his jokes is less encouraged.

What to Expect

In Secrets of Joke Writing Revealed classes, Robert draws on more than 30 years of writing and performing to share techniques, practical tips, and a few fundamentals that aren’t exactly secret but that newer comics have been remarkably good at avoiding.

Classes take place online through Zoom, so you can join from wherever you do your best thinking. Each session combines instruction with time for questions, giving aspiring joke writers and newer comedians a chance to learn directly from Robert.

“I’m a motivational speaker, and I’m really good. I speak to people, and five minutes later they’re on their feet, motivated out of the building to do something better with their lives.”
